Construction Update: Chilly weather, warm interior

The weather is colder but crews are on fire! October was a month of significant advancement, especially indoors and on the exterior.

What’s happening now?

The interior slab pours are now fully complete, providing a solid foundation for the beautiful spaces to come. We're also getting very close to having the building fully enclosed, with the roof now 95% complete and the waterproofing of exterior walls finished, preparing them for the final finish metal panels. Inside, essential infrastructure is taking shape: HVAC ductwork and VAV boxes are installed, and 60% of the fire protection sprinkler lines are in place.

The Indianapolis Colts dog park is ready for play, with the sub-base, artificial turf, concrete, and covered pavilion all installed! Interior masonry walls are also moving quickly, currently sitting at 70% complete.

What’s next?

Soon, we'll see the finishing touches on the outdoor areas with the installation of landscaping trees and the pouring of exterior site concrete curbs and sidewalks. The site will also be prepped for asphalt paving for the parking and drive areas. Indoors, the focus will shift to the final walls and finishes, with the continuation of interior masonry and the start of metal framing for drywall. Best of all, crews will begin installing drywall and finishes in the administration area once in-wall inspections are finished! Plus, we'll see the pole barn for the large animal building erected.

Stay tuned for more updates in December!
